Shelby Howard
We are pleased to announce our 2015-2016 recipient of the Paul Van Steen Sports Achievement Award is Shelby Howard. Shelby has been participating in Cross Country skiing for the past 13 and has competed in 3 Canadian Nationals, qualifying for sprint quarter finals. She placed 2nd in the Ontario Cup series for the 2015/2016 season, earning a nomination to the Ontario Nordic Ski Team and was MVP for Cross Country Skiing at AY Jackson for four years. Shelby also competes in running and has numerous top ten finishes at NCSSAA cross country running and track and field championships. Her future plans include competing with the Carleton University Varsity Nordic Ski Team.
