Brendon Howard

The BCA presented Brendon Howard with the Paul Van Steen Sports Achievement Award for 2014. Brendon has cross-country skied since he was 4 years old and competes in the National, Regional, Provincial and High School level. He is consistently in the top five in his age group in Ontario, and top 20 at the National level. A member of Nakkertok Junior Development Team that has been the National Aggregate Club Champions for the past five years. Brendon was recognized as the A.Y. Jackson Junior (2012) and Senior (2013) athlete of the year, and awarded twice their MVP award for the Nordic ski team. Brendon also competed for A.Y. Jackson at NCSSAA and OFSSA in both Cross Country, and Track and Field earning MVP honours in both. He is also a former competitive hockey player (KMHA Blazers), and member of KMHA Major Bantam ‘B’ Silver Stick Champion Team (2011). He road cycles, mountain bikes, and is a volunteer coach with A.Y. Jackson S.S. Track team.
