Shelby Howard

he BCA presented the 2015 Paul Van Steen Award to Shelby Howard. Shelby has cross-country skied for 13 years, competing in three Canadian Nationals and qualified for sprint quarter finals. She placed 2nd in the 2015/16 Ontario Cup series, earned a nomination to the Ontario Nordic Ski Team, and was MVP for Cross Country Skiing for four years at A.Y. Jackson H.S. Shelby also has numerous top ten finishes in NCSSAA cross country running and track and field championships. She plans to compete with the Carleton University Varsity Nordic Ski Team.
